The Carlton Brewhouse Record Fair # 3

The Kew Record Fair presents

The Carlton Brewhouse Record Fair

Kew Record Fair is proud to present the Carlton Brewhouse Record Fair # 3 on Sunday, September 11th.

After hosting the Kew Record Fair at the Kew Heights Sports Club from 2011-2019 the venue was sold to a local private school leaving us without a venue and asking ourselves, what’s next?

Introducing Our New Record Fair

Our Latest venture is the Carlton Brewhouse Record Fair, which is located in the heart of Abbotsford.

The venue is a fantastic space, filled with natural light, tall ceilings, a bar with ice cold beer on tap and amazing food. All in all it’s a perfect place to continue on with our Record Fair.

Our aim is to establish the Carlton Brewhouse Record Fair as one of the best in town where you can find a extensive range of Australian vinyl as well as music from around the world. With a heavy focus on classic and hard to find vinyl we will also have 1000’s of Quality CD’s, DJ Collections, Rarities and a bunch of other weird and wonderful records available.

Our Sellers

Our sellers are passionate about music and work hard to source the best wax from all over the world. We’re happy to bring together some of Melbourne’s best vinyl dealers as well as private collectors, 1st time sellers, Dj’s, music stores and musicians for a fun filled day of buying and selling.

The Music

If you’re just getting into vinyl collecting, searching for that rare record that’s eluded you for years, a dedicated crate digger or just out to have a fun day browsing through some records, then this fair is for you!

There’ll be a extensive range of new and second hand vinyl and CD’s on offer so it’s well worth committing a few hours of your time.

Expect to see John Coltrane, Miles Davis and a tasty slab of Jazz, 60’s and 70’s Soul, Disco and heavy Funk wax on the regular, we’ll have 80’s and 90’s Hip Hop including Gang Starr, Tribe Called Quest, Wu-Tang and many more!

There’s always Classic’s by David Bowie, the Beatles, Cream, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Neil Young and Hendrix on offer but you can also find obscure Krautrock records and a solid selection of Soundtracks if you dig around.

If you dig hard to find Australian releases from the 70’s there’s usually a good selection on hand but it’s always worth getting in early if you want first pick on those really sought after records.
